Great to wake up to a view of Mt Kinabalu and all the food was really lovely home cooking and tasted great. It felt like living in a little community for a couple of days :)

Sea Star Resort Semporna is situated in Semporna. Boasting a 24-hour front desk, this property also welcomes guests with a family-friendly restaurant and a sun terrace. The rooms have a balcony with views of the sea. the service was outstanding. in particular Daniel and Sebastian. Daniel went out of his way to make us comfortable, even took us to restaurants on the main land to show us around. wow. amazing guy. always smiling

Amazing property with truly world class amenities and crew. Great pool and beach. Spent most of our time at the Samoan bar in the evenings during sundowner. Great food, great cocktails and wonderful staff led by Fen and her team of Febby, Nazirul, Stephanie. Great team and wonderful to interact with. Hats off to their professionalism. The rooms (ours was sea view, king) are spacious, well-appointed, and very comfortable. The pool area is beautiful and very popular with children, and there is a small beach to access the sea. There are several restaurants to choose from with very good food options. The breakfast buffet (included) was tasty, varied and plentiful. The view from the open-air breakfast area was truly tropical.

Featuring an outdoor swimming pool, the 5-star resort has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom. There is free private parking and the property offers paid airport shuttle service. Great stay in general! The rooms were nice and had plenty of space, and the place is really charming too, but what really shines is the great attention provided by the hosts. Chai, Nani and Asphal helped us with every one of out needs and even last minute requests worked out perfectly. The meals they cooked for us were probably the bests we had during out whole time in Borneo and the shuttle service to the Jetty in Semporna came in very handy and made staying away from the town (which I highly recommend) feel like not a problem at all. I will also leave a special thank for letting me and my wife be part of their Hari Raya celebrations. Whenever we are back in Borneo, we’ll definitely stay there again!
