• Offering an outdoor swimming pool, a private restaurant and free WiFi access at lobby area, Xcape Resort Taman Negara is tucked away in Kampong Keldong. Because of some of the other reviews, my expectations were extremely low. But it wasn't that bad, really. The location is outside of the village, but the hotel offers free shuttles and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We only stayed one night and left very early the next morning. Breakfast was okay, but nothing to write home about. We had two rooms with a connecting door, which was great for our family. Cleanliness was okay, we've definitely seen worse. Not a lot of furniture in the room, but had everything we needed. Not sure how I would feel about staying here for a week, but for one night it was perfectly fine.

I had been wanting to stay here for years after visiting as a guide in the past. My stay didn’t disappoint, the only accommodation in the actual national park is a little aged but great. We loved the food, friendly staff, location and the setting. My recommendation is to go half board the food was l really tasty, good quality and enough to go round (even for a fussy 7 year old).
