You can walk to Cathedral Cove from Hahei Beach Resort, follow the beach and connect to the Cathedral Cove walkway (the walk takes about 1 hour each way). We loved the location; how we could walk right out the front of our bach and step onto a sandy pathway to a gorgeous beach. Perfect for evening walks and early morning sunrise viewing. Comfy beds and everything we needed as far as appliances, shovels for the hot water beach, enough towels for shower and beach.

Just 8 minutes’ walk from Whangamata Beach, Palm Pacific Resort & Motel boasts an outdoor pool, a hot tub and a tennis court. Exceptionally clean and well maintained property with pool, hot tub and tennis court. Staff was very friendly and welcoming

Located on The Esplanade overlooking Tairua Harbour, Paku Lodge Resort offers self-contained accommodation with a private balcony and harbour views. The resort was tucked away in a quite area and at the same time only a 4-5 mins drive to the town! The kitchen was well stocked and the place was clean. Terry was very helpful in giving tips and also providing shovels and beach towels! The best part though, the view with the water and the mountains behind with the sunset!

Located next to the Lost Spring Thermal Pools, this resort offers direct access to Buffalo Beach and has a heated outdoor pool, tennis court and a children's playground. Perfect location - great for going to the ferry or downtown. Very comfy bed and great area.

Featuring direct beach access, this resort has a barbecue area overlooking the ocean. Each self-contained apartment includes a private balcony or patio. Unbelievably clean and well looked after. Even the smallest things were in place. What a lovely place.

Slipper Island Resort is located in Home Bay with chalets and tents positioned to maximise the views of the beautiful bay and surrounding farmland. The location was great. Clean water in the harbor and the fish life was right there. We had the place to ourselves so was great on that front.
