Avalon, in a tranquil garden setting, offers self-catering cottages with free Wi-Fi and balconies overlooking the valley and the Puketotora River. Beautiful setting and very comfortable accommodation. Loved the spa and the natural pool. The bbq area was also really lovely. Our cottage was well equipped and we really enjoyed our stay.

This 4 star, resort is located on the Karikari peninsula in Northland, New Zealand. It is situated on 3000 acres and includes a farm, a vineyard, and a 4 km long white-sand coastline. I really loved my stay here. The view from my room (number 5) was just breathtaking. The bed was really comfortable as well. Every person from staff I encountered was so sweet and helpful. The food from de restaurant was really nice as well (if you are into green lip mussels, definitely don’t skip out on those).
