Surrounded by Lake Rotorua, On The Point -Lake Rotorua is a luxury retreat featuring spectacular views to Mokoia Island. Gorgeous, peaceful setting. We spend many hours just sitting in the chairs overlooking the lake. We loved the huge windows in our room also overlooking the lake. The animals (donkeys, sheep, and ponies) make the lace extra special. We had a car but also took Ubers to and from town—a quick 10min ride. The tour companies also know this property Staff was fantastic. Niki worked the breakfasts when we were there and she was wonderful. So friendly and kind, she took excellent care of us. She gave us tips on places to go, always asked how our stay was, and truly cared that we were having a nice stay there.

The food is great, the staff is so attentive and work so hard to make things personally special for the guests. Plus the property is unreal - so many trails to explore, a beautiful water fall exclusive to the property, I only wish we'd stayed longer!
