Clearly the owners thought of every little detail. From the fresh bread in the morning, and the homemade caramel and jam, to the detailed booklet explaining far and beyond what you can do in the area and in the compound itself. We had a wonderful dinner with very nice guests, which was delicious and accompanied by great wine. The room was kept clean every day, and the pool and sauna were also clean and inviting. Top notch!

Escarpa - The Madeira Hideaway ligger i Ponta do Sol, 14 minutters gang fra Praia da Madalena do Mar Strand, og har en udendørs swimmingpool, en have og en terrasse samt gratis privat parkering. We loved every minute! Petra and her staff are amazing people. Every day, we were looking forward to a healthy and delicious breakfast. We especially loved the ginger shots. We loved the room, the pool, ... the only regret we have is not staying one day more, like we had originally planned. We will be back for sure.

The luxurious Royal Savoy - Ocean Resort is set amidst tropical gardens in the Bay of Funchal, featuring 2 heated lagoon-style pools and private ocean access. Superb location with direct access to the sea - (however there is no beach but rock-set steps to the water ). There is a huge sun-lounging terrace with plenty of sun-beds . Hotel was originally a time share apartment building which has been converted to a hotel . The suite rooms have a separate kitchen and there is room service available so private dining on the terrace is a very pleasant availability .

Great place with spectactul wiews. It is not “build today”, but it comfortable, terrace is perfect! Heated pools, sauna, mini market, bar and restaurant is available. We stay here for a week and we are not happy we change the place for a last holidays, as we really much more like village Cabo girao than the one we stay for a last time in Madeira.
