If we’d needed any transport (from the train, to places nearby or even Bangkok), the lady would help us to organize for a good prize (yet we didn’t use as we booked everything before). The host lady was genuinely interested to make our stay best possible. Thank you for that!

The staff were the loveliest, so kind, caring, and always ready to help. The location is unbelievable, with a million-dollar view that genuinely took our breath away. Waking up to birdsong and watching the fog rise over the mountains felt magical. The tents were spacious, spotless, and well-equipped, and the pool area was stunning, the perfect spot to unwind. We loved the coffee, cakes, and of course the food as well. We honestly wished we had stayed longer. Highly recommended!

Kanchanaburi Railway Station is a convenient 10-minute walk away. It takes 20 minutes to walk to River Kwai and Death Railway Museum. The bus station is a 20-minute drive from the hotel. Middle in the “main street” with lots of choice of restaurants and bars, but still we didn’t hear any noise from our room. The staff are very kind, friendly and helpful. The room was tastefully decorated with a lovely bathroom. The high point from my trip was eating breakfast on the terrace overlooking the river with the sounds of the birds! There is a small infinity pool, with the most amazing view. The owner has a passion for gardening as everything is beautifully kept. We rented a scooter from the lady next door to the resort, and we loved touring around this exceptionally beautiful area. We found the people in Kanchanaburi to be very friendly, I just loved the place! I didn’t want to leave! Next time I will definately stay at Ploy Resort again!

Facilities were nice, the boat trip was fun as it allowed to float down the river. Stargazing was possible at night, the location is chilling if you come by car and want a timeout.
