Awesome Riad, close to the desert. The hosts were amazing, they organized sunrise camel ride to the dunes on December 31st - amazing way to finish the year 😉 the dinner and the breakfast were great. The AC heating is very good, which is important in December.

Riad Madu is located in Merzouga. Free Wi-Fi access is available. Rooms here will provide you with air conditioning and a seating area. Private bathrooms also come with a shower. I love Riad Madu. I live in Fes and have stayed here twice in the past two and a half years. I hope to go again whenever I take visitors to the desert. It's a perfect place to stay before heading into a tent camp.

Amazing views of the dunes, starry night from the balcony, and great pool. Breakfast was delicious and the hospitality unmatched. 10/10.

I had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful traditional riad, and it truly made my visit unforgettable. The atmosphere was incredibly charming and authentic. I spent a lovely night there, and everything was spotless, reflecting the high standards of cleanliness. What stood out to me the most was the exceptional hospitality from the staff – they were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel as though I were in my own home. The beds were very comfortable and well-maintained, ensuring a restful night. I would highly recommend this riad to anyone looking for a genuine Moroccan experience.

Hospitality level was super! the location of the gite was great as you could walk directly to the dunes in a few minutes and there were lots of camels in the area that you could visit. You would most likely want to have a car because the gite is about 2.5-3 kms from town. We ha a car, which made it easy to go to the hosts house in the morning (where the breakfast was served). The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our own food. Did I mention how great the hospitality was?

We felt like we were actually in the middle of the Sahara desert but surrounded by 5 star luxury . The staff were amazing, couldn’t do enough for us.

The house itself is incredibly beautiful. The swimming pool is what made it perfect. After a hot day of traveling it is the best way to cool down. The host was super kind and helped us with laundry, the airco and food/drinks. We recommend this place to everyone staying a night here to enjoy the local life near the Sahara!
