The Chems Bleu is a calm and sunny house that offers comfortable accommodation and amazing views of the beach and the port. Everything! The riad was decorated with a lot of vibrant artwork, plants and had lots of natural light. The terrace upstairs looked over the ocean and was a nice and breezy escape from the heat in the Medina. The breakfast served there was super yummy! Our room was perfect, with a comfortable bed and spacious balcony. What stood out most about our stay was the super friendly staff. They were super accommodating and were very keen to share their recommendations. Our stay could not have been better :)

The rooms are beautifully decorated and the bed and pillows are very comfortable, the location of the Raid is excellent. The raid has a very nice terrace where you can eat breakfast. Breakfast was very tasty and included omelette as well as the normal breads etc. The Raid is run by a lovely family who were so friendly and helpful. I would totally recommend this Raid if you are staying in Essaouira.

My family and I recently had the pleasure of staying at this stunning place just 15 minutes from the heart of Essaouira, and I can’t recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm Moroccan hospitality, and every detail of our stay exceeded expectations. The highlight for us was definitely the heated swimming pool—a rare luxury in this area! Whether it was a refreshing morning dip or a relaxing evening swim under the stars, the temperature was always perfect. The setting was incredibly peaceful and picturesque. Our bungalow was spacious, immaculately clean and beautifully decorated. The beds were comfortable, and we appreciated the quiet, serene environment—a welcome break from the bustle of the medina. Breakfasts were generous and delicious, with local produce, fresh breads, and amazing Moroccan mint tea. The on-site restaurant also offered an excellent selection of Moroccan and international dishes. Staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home. The hosts Jeremy and Yousra were exceptionally helpful. If you’re looking for a luxurious, peaceful retreat with easy access to Essaouira, this property is the perfect choice. We left feeling relaxed, rejuvenated, and already planning our return!

My room was the most beautiful hotel room I have ever had. It was gorgeous, up high with open doors and easy access to the roof terrace. Just stunning.

Owner lovely with little extras around the place like coffee facilities etc. drink and biscuit on arrival. receptionist - Leila ( i think is her name) helped me so much. My husband was sick, she helped me book an earlier bus ( in french) she rang the man to pick up the bags. We could leave our bags at reception and rest in the lobby. Other staff cooked lovely breakfast and you could see the house maids thoroughly cleaning the rooms.

Riad Zawia is located on the beachfront in Essaouira, 100 metres from Othello Garden and 3 km from Essaouira Assawak Assalam. Huge shout out to Hamid and Zara! The kindest people on the planet! Always smiling and happy to help! Organised out trip to the dromedaries and horse rides at the Ranch Diabat, where we saw the most beautiful sunset! The King Suite overlooking the ocean was unique and full of character. Coming in and out of the Riad felt like home, with Hamid and Zara welcoming us every time! Their recommendations for local restaurants and real traditional experiences around the Medina were always in spot! We always knew where to go! This is definitely a must if you’re ever in Essaouira!!
