Riad Amaris is situated in the centre of Rabat, a 12-minute walk from Kasbah of the Udayas. The traditional-style riad offers an original patio with a fountain, a glass ceiling and a furnished terrace with plants. 11/10 if I could. We've traveled around Morocco for the past ten days and this place was by far our favourite. Even compared to places in the middle of nowhere, this one is nicer. And it's leaps and bounds nicer than places we stayed in other cities. Friendly, helpful staff, beautiful/comfortable room, fantastic location. The room pictures don't do it justice, it was perfect. One more thing, the bathroom was exceptional!

This classic Moroccan Riad has a patio with a fountain and a sun terrace overlooking Rabat’s markets. Riad Dar Soufa has a prime location in the heart of one of Morocco’s major cities.
A daily breakfast is served in one of the Riad’s Moroccan lounges or on the terrace. With its central location on Mohamed V Avenue, the hotel is not far from restaurants and shops.
We were met from the taxi with balloons (we’d recently married) and accompanied to the Riad where we were welcomed with typical Moroccan tea and biscuits which was a lovely touch.
Location was great, up a quiet lane in the Medina and within walking distance of the train station and the seaside.
Breakfast was fantastic, lots of fresh fruit and yogurt, squeezed juice, varied offerings of breads pancakes and croissants.
Staff were very pleasant and most helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Would highly recommend 😊

Popular points of interest near the riad include Hassan Tower, Moroccan Parliament and National Office for Hydrocarbons and Mining. Rabat-Salé Airport is 11 km away, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service. Riad Asswar is a true gem in Marrakech! Perfectly located in the Medina, it’s just steps away from great restaurants, lively souks, and the city’s most famous attractions — yet still offers a peaceful and relaxing retreat from the bustle. The riad is spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained, and wonderfully cozy. It really feels like a home away from home. A special mention to Mustapha, the host, who is absolutely exceptional. He is friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist — whether it’s giving great local tips, arranging activities, or going out of his way to make sure you’re comfortable. You can tell he genuinely cares about his guests.

This recently renovated riad is located 1.1 km from Kasbah of the Udayas and 1.8 km from Hassan Tower. The riad has family rooms. Everything was great! From the initial contact with Jonathan to arrange the check-in, Adam's welcome at the Riad and him taking care of us during our stay, the room which was spacious and clean, bed comfy, the bathroom spacious and clean, to finally the terrace at the rooftop where we would hang out in the evening. Wi fi signal was great throughout - in the room and even on the terrace. Breakfast was lovely! The location is great if you're looking to stay at the Medina.

The Riad itself was beautiful. I would have loved to have dinner there but unfortunately it was booked out so make sure to book ahead.
What made my stay even more enjoyable is the friendliness and the willingness of all staff to accommodate any need I had from recommending restaurants, organising breakfast at a later sitting for me and even sorting my Moroccan sim and WiFi for my mobile phone. A special mention to Whalid, the manager who went above and beyond all expectations.

1. Good location (in the Medina, quiet place) 2. Traditional Moroccan Riad house very cozy.
We loved everything about Dar Shann: the tastefully decorated spaces, everywhere you look, with repect to historical Moroccan's periods, beautiful and comfortable room, lovely courtyard potted garden and rooftop pool, the breakfast quarters with ambiant music, the delicious breakfasts and the kind staff members.
We had such a lovely stay in Rabat thanks to Riad Dar Yannis. We had a very warm welcome after a "bumpy" ride from the airport. The staff welcomed us with traditional Moroccan mint tea and helped us with our luggage to go up to our rooms. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the breakfast is plentiful and delicious! All in all, we really loved our stay and we would love to come back there one day!
Beautifully decorated traditional Moroccan riad. Good breakfast, nice rooftop, very nice bedrooms, friendly staff and good location.
This Riad is well located in medina and close to restaurants in the modern part. Parking was a short walk away. Staff peasant and helpful, breakfast was very good as we also got yoghurt and fruits in additions to the traditional Moroccan breads and crepes. Room was spacious , large bathroom and comfortable bed.
Simply gorgeous. We took many pictures in the atrium. The rooms with the ridiculously high ceilings are beautiful, too. All the staff were super attentive, and we had a very interesting conversation with Reta who speaks perfect English and shared some deep insights with us. The riad is located on a nicer street in the medina with loads of plants, and some cute cats.
A charming riad in Rabat's medina. Traditional architecture with some contemporary touches. Nice, well-appointed rooms surrounding a relaxing courtyard, great rooftop with a tiny pool. Helpful staff, excellent breakfast, good value for money: strongly recommended + will be back soon!
one of the most beautiful Riads I‘ve been to in Morocco. rooftop pool is quite unique and something you don’t find elsewhere in the Medina of Rabat. staff was more than friendly - the house- own restaurant served traditional Moroccan dishes, just delicious. highly recommended.
Really authentic traditional Moroccan Riad. I appreciated the warm welcome with some lovely Moroccan mint tea and the breakfast was really nice and great value for money, it was probably the nicest coffee I had in Morocco. The rooms are nice and simple and the shared bathrooms are kept clean.
