From all the places I booked in Albania, this was by far the best. The rooms are spacious and clean, with a nice interior. The terrace is calm and has a wonderful view on the mountains. Breakfast was delicious. What makes this place even better is the lovely Lily and her husband, they make you feel at home immediately and you get spoiled as if you're staying at your parents place. I more than recommend this place.

Everything. If staying in Berat, make sure to stay within the Castle rather than down in the town and definitely stay at Hotel Klea. Our room was on the small side and functional but the hotel itself, the setting and the restaurant are exceptional. Walking around the old castle in the evening is a must as is eating in the Hotel Klea restaurant. Ksenophon was our host and he not only recommended dishes, drinks and places to visit but also sat down with us at the end of the evening for a raki or two

It was super nice and cosy. The garden is peaceful and calming. Breakfast was tasty and the hosts were amazingly hospitable! They shared some of their fruits from the garden as well.
