Breakfast was amazing! Lili makes her own orange marmalade and grape jam, and various cakes. Everything was fresh and delicious, using homegrown/local ingredients. Lili and her husband are so sweet and helpful, the rooms are very clean and comfortable, and the bathrooms are spotless. There’s also free parking on the property. Highly recommend!

Everything. If staying in Berat, make sure to stay within the Castle rather than down in the town and definitely stay at Hotel Klea. Our room was on the small side and functional but the hotel itself, the setting and the restaurant are exceptional. Walking around the old castle in the evening is a must as is eating in the Hotel Klea restaurant. Ksenophon was our host and he not only recommended dishes, drinks and places to visit but also sat down with us at the end of the evening for a raki or two
