Very professional and friendly staff. Rooms and entire facility was very clean. Excellent location with lake just a thought of the stone away. Facility offers the beach towels for the guests. Many hiking trails with great variety of difficulty around the hotel and Traunsee. There is a boat stop in front of hotel to take a trip on lake or connect with hiking trails in the other side of the lake and visit Gmundent town center. Facility offers excellent breakfast and dinner in the hotel restaurant. Really great experience!

We travel in summer. Outside was 30 C, but in the room it was nicely cold just exactly to sleep in the cosy beds. The room in the ground floor overlooking the field. In the morning we heard singing of the birds.The bathroom was clean. The Landlords are very nice and helpful. The breakfast was delicious, we recommend home made bread and marmalade. Of course you can have eggs, yogurt, pepperoni and ham. If it's on our way we stay here.

Located in Ebensee, Hotel Hochsteg Gütl is an ideal starting point for excursions to the historic villages Hallstatt and Bad Ischl.

THis facility is EXCELLENT!!! What a dream of a place to relax and vacation. Mother Nature provided rain for many days but we were comfortable, well taken are of and enjoyed the clean indoor pool and sauna. Gorgeous grounds, fantastic breakfast and afternoon "Kaffee und Kuchen" with delights backed by Margareta (the owner) herself. This is a family operated hotel and restaurant and we were truly spoiled. They all went above and beyond helping us (when our rental car would not start), catered to our needs for our 93 year old mother and were always kind, friendly and accommodating. The restaurant on the property called the Mostschenke im Heustadl and provides a five star Austrian experience in dining. The family has been on this property since the 1600's and have up-dated and built the hotel in the last ten - twelve years. The Mostschenke is the renovated cattle barn and it a delightful venue for dining. The Hotel is clean, bright and the two bedroom chalet suite is a dream for a family vacation. We had a wonderful stay at Stadthotel Restaurant Auerhahn in Vöcklabruck. The hotel is beautiful, very clean and welcoming, with delicious food. The town itself was a surprisingly lovely discovery — charming and full of character. The staff were warm and hospitable, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Definitely a place we would love to return to!

Nice, casual hotel, very comfortable and cosy, super friendly Host (greetings). Perfect choice as a stopover or to visit a very interesting area nearby. Good restaurant serving local cuisine, large selection of beers (and a beer museum). Not only beers are worth tasting- please come and try…
