Location was excellent, only a few minutes walk from St. Stephen’s Cathedral. Breakfast was very good- good variety of both hot and cold. Staff at reception were very friendly and knowledgeable. Room was spacious, very clean and there was little noise from outside.

Staff were very personable, polite, friendly and accommodating. Room was lovely. Location was excellent with respect to getting around the city on foot. The concierges were extremely helpful and made reservations for trains, dining experiences, and concerts very easily and efficiently. Food was delicious - breakfast is included and there is a buffet as well as ordering something from the menu without additional cost. Property and room were extremely clean- staff work very hard to ensure this (as well as being accommodating). There is a lovely veranda to sit in. Not in a busy or noisy area. Able to walk to museum quarter, main shopping area and cafes. The hotel offered free coffee (including cappuccinos) all day. Champagne bar was out of this world. An excellent experience!

Excellent breakfast with lots of options. Friendly personal service, with the opportunity to order from an ala carte. Friendly staff. Hotel quite near to a metro stop. The whole hotel seems to be scented, which is pleasant but odd. The gym downstairs is well-equipped for most people, swimming pool is large enough for a little swim and some lounging around. Loads of options for food and drinks, surprisingly fairly priced. Surprisingly not obscenely expensive for a single room during a time when all the hotels in the area were booked.

Excellent quite location right in the heart of district #1 Vienna. Easy to find coming from the airport when using public transport and after exploring the sights on foot, no need for additional public transport. Super friendly staff on front desk and the additional fruits, pastries and drinks available at reception were awesome.

The Hotel Sacher is a beautiful hotel in an exceptionally high-quality traditional style. Our rooms were an oasis aesthetically and functionally designed with the guests' comfort the upper most consideration. The bars and restaurants were a delight with superb drinks and cuisine. We had an exquisite after Opera dinner in the Grune Bar, and, of course, we had to order the famous Sacher Torte in the Cafe Sacher. The hotel breakfast was extensive with a buffet, and a la carte options served in either the gentle morning room or the Grune Bar and was a lovely way to start the day. The staff, regardless of their position, were extremely polite, friendly, and very well trained. All our requests, e.g, for taxis, valet parking, tickets, directions, and advice on attractions, were handled cheerfully and quickly. All these factors have meant that our very happy memories of the Hotel Sacher will not fade.

This is an exceptional hotel for many reasons. It is well located with easy access inti the historic centre of Vienna, It has easy access to bus, tram and underground links. All the staff are lovely (from waiting staff to housekeeping to receptionists) and friendly. The breakfast is outstanding both in terms of the range of foods on offer and the quantity and quality. The free afternoon tea and cake is a nice touch although we were often out and about at that time of the day. This is a hotel that goes over and above to provide an excellent service, eg. offering additional pillows and duvets upon request.
