I think the best accommodation we had untill now on our trip along the east coast of Australia. What a gem this is! There is much to see on the east coast but if you arrive here, you really don’t want to leave. Tranquility, nature and amazing bird sounds as if you are in the rainforest. Absolutely amazing! The garden is to die for and the rooms are comfortable and clean. You have a fridge and an outdoor kitchen which you can use. The beds are super comfy and you have a small cozy terrace overlooking the beautiful garden. Definitely didn’t want to have missed this.

Sandcastles 1770 Motel & Resort is centrally located within a 5-minute walk from main shopping centres and it has direct beach access to the main patrolled surf beach in Agnes Water.

The room was spacious, very clean, reasonably quiet and very well equipped for the budget unit we booked. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

Guests can enjoy the full resort experience as there is a lagoon-style swimming pool, a large jacuzzi, an award-winning day spa, and a restaurant and bar. A surf beach is a 3-minute walk away.

My whole families expectations were exceeded when we walked into our rooms. Clean, modern and well equipped rooms. The pool is so nice and the staff were very helpful especially the blonde lady on reception.
