Very lovely location 3 minute walk from the boat port. Comfortable rooms with everything required. Cristina & her family made us feel so welcome. We were travelling with a 5 month old baby and they made sure we had everything we needed. We hope to return soon.

Ibis always has a standard of service and it is always acceptable but as this is a long way from the main cities I was not expecting the excellent level. Good beds, good showers, clean and friendly staff. The wifi was also good in the room. I travel a lot in Brazil and this place was a surprise, good breakfast and easy to find. I will come back here.

The location is fantastic! The "pousada" is on a quiet corner of the Encantadas beach but you can reach all shops and bars within a 5min walk. The breakfast was varied, with plenty of fresh fruit to start your day well, whilst watching the local birds flying around. The staff are very friendly and always available to help. Dona Janete and Tania, who run the pousada, are really nice people who make you feel right at home. This was our second stay at their pousada and I can't wait to come back again! :-)

This place have my heart always! I used to work at Pousadinha in 2008 and 2009 and had the best memories of my life when I used to live in Brazil! I love the owners, the member of staff, the energy of this incredible place and peace I feel when I am there! Coming back for 2 nights in Ilha do Mel was magical and I had the best time, the room was clean and perfect located and they have a beautiful breakfast area, I would only recommend have more vegan options. It was such a great experience as always and I recommend to everyone, a week later my mum, grandmother and sister went there too, as I could not stop saying how great it was my two nights at Pousadinha! It is like a second home to me and I always miss it, always have the best time and I cannot wait to being back! Sending lots of love to all Pousadinha team 💚💚💚
