The walk from the cable car station along the panorama trail with amazing mountain views takes approximately 25-30 minutes. There are many walking and skiing trails available around. You can have dinner a la carte at the hotel (there are not many other options in the village). Peaceful and quiet. We had a double room in the attic with a tiny window and two comfortable beds joined. The bathroom was small, but clean. Your luggage can be delivered from the cable car to the hotel, if you book in advance.

The location is fantastic and breakfasts were exceptional. The staff were very professional and warm. The room was very comfortable. Overall an excellent stay!

I stayed 2 nights for cycling and the location of the hotel is perfect, not exactly on the climbs and but within a proper distance, it is also next to grocery shop and gas station. The premise is well maintained, the room I stayed is fresh and clean. I guess the evenings are famous in close proximity as I saw people/groups are coming just for food and indeed the food was tasty and worth trying. I didnt taste any wine as I have to recover well in the evenings but the amount of selection seems OK. The ladies at the service are guest oriented and very lovely.This is NOT something you can find in that region. I m not sure how the hotel is suitable for winter times as I saw a lazy lift next to the hotel but you are in the middle of ski oasis, I believe you will find something within short car reach. I also used the ski room which was also above standards.

The view from the balcony was fascinating! I am still seeing it in front of my eyes. Breakfast was good - nothing special. The size of the room is ok, we were two people with a apartment (two rooms) and we had enough space, but in the regular double room is quite small. Anyways, those small minuses fades when I remember the view and the helpful stuff there. I really recommend the place to everyone visiting Murren <3!
