It’s cozy, warm. The first day we arrived, as usual due to crazy traveling and lethargy, my wife and I had our moods quite off, however the front counter who attended to us was beyond kind and helpful. He was so sweet to invite my wife in and help me with the bags. He even told us to rest and will attend to us the next day. He was so accommodating. He allowed us to take our time with check out and did not hassle us to rush out. I may say 100 out of 10. I will definitely bring my kids and wife back here.

Everything! Fabulous staff, great tunes in the evenings, lovely room, very comfortable with black out blinds and good sound proofing. Lovely part of town and loads of nooks and crannies to explore.

Very nice located to the lake and spacious room. Lobby is good for rest and provide free coffee. Helpful and polite reception when I store my luggage due to arrived earlier.

We have stayed at Royal Plaza Montreux before, and it's allways a pleasure to stay there 😀. The staff are excellent and when we arrived the concierge came out to welcome us 👍. We always book a junior suite with a full wiev to lake, and it is outstanding. Thank you so much and see you next year.

Great Location, in the centre of it all, right across from the train station. We had quite a bit of luggage and skis so it was amazing, to get off the train and be there in a matter of minutes.

Opened in 1896, the Belle-Epoque Hotel Eden Palace au Lac enjoys a lakefront position just a 5-minute walk from Montreux Train Station.

I loved everything. 1.The receptionist, called Diane, checked me in. She was so competent and welcoming. 2. The room was divine with the softest sheets and such a confortable bed. The air-conditioning works perfectly. 3. The view of Lac Leman, backed by the Alps, was exquisite. 4. The breakfast had everything you could want. 5. To cool down, a dip in the hotel pool or in the lake right at the hotel, were ideal options.

The Hôtel Masson is nestled in a quiet, leafy setting, and offers the experience of a charming, timeless stay in Montreux. An authentic Belle Epoque-style hotel with all modern comforts.

Excellent location, surrounded by quiet and cute neighbourhood, and has fantastic view of the snowy mountains and lake, every morning the first thing I did was to go to the balcony and took pictures. It was extremely easy and quick to reach by bus 201 from Montreux centre; Staff were extremely helpful and welcoming, learnt me tips and we had funny conversations, I felt at home. It’s a family business and you could tell staff work like a lovely big family; Breakfast was very cute and many choices, loved the bakery, hams, eggs, yogurt, melons, milk etc. I believed the owner of the hotel was serving guests during breakfast every morning, by asking my room number he knew how many people were coming with me for breakfast (so that he could suggest a table), such an impressive detail which makes you feel this is a super nice place to stay; Interior design and decoration was fabulous, it felt like a mini Downton Abbey. Although it is now almost two hundred years old, it is just so elegant and cozy. They have menus from 1900s displaying on the wall, many old but beautiful drawings of the hotel in 1800s & 1900s. You would feel you are witnessing and becoming part of a history. One hundred years ago, there was a woman who travelled to Montreux by ship from the other side of the continent by herself, she wrote a diary which inspired me one hundred years later, it is very mind-blowing to think the hotel might have seen us both now:) I chose the hotel for this reason, and very pleasantly I enjoyed very much the stay!
