I stayed at the hotel with two dogs. There was a large dog carpet and bowls waiting for me in the room. The room was spacious and we felt comfortable sleeping there. The hotel has a lovely fitness centre which I enjoyed working out in the morning. The breakfast was great and the service at the reception, restaurant and fitness centre was excellent. The room was clean, had a bathrobe, slippers, all hygiene products, the shower was spacious and comfortable. There was a kettle and everything to make tea in the room.

Only the name reminds us of the military. This historic hotel is one of the most beautiful in Switzerland.

An excellent overnight stay for cyclists riding around the Bodensee. It is 4km from the lake, but well worth the ride. The top floor apartment was HUGE with several rooms and a well appointed kitchen. It has a lift and our bikes were securely stored in the lobby downstairs. We picked up the keys from the ground floor restaurant - Tres Amigos - and the hostess could not have been more welcoming. The views were great as was the wifi, hot water and huge comfortable bed. We only wish we could have stayed longer.
