Wonderful place! We will definitely come back more than once. A large, beautifully and practically furnished room. Great view from the balcony to the ruins of the Metternich Castle. 3 minutes walk to the banks of the Moselle. Absolutely exceptional breakfast. 2 saunas, a sun room and a huge roof terrace. Helpful and hospitable staff - they know the answers to all your questions :). Convenient parking.

A wonderful hotel sitting under the ancient castle. In a quiet spot away from the bustle of the small town. Spotless and lovely bed. Fabulous friendly family and their staff nothing too much for them to help you enjoy your stay.

Very friendly hostess, she was very helpful with finding transportation, bike rental, etc.. The breakfast was amazing, and with a great view from the balcony. The room also had a balcony.

We had a family room that was very spacious, clean and well equiped, the breakfast was also very good. There is a private parking at the hotel which is nice when travelling with children. The owner was very friendly and gave us an excellent restaurant recommendation! :-)

Fantastic location, by the river, very convenient for river cruises, close to bars/restaurants/shops and only a 10 minute walk from the train station. We wanted to book a balcony room but there were none left. However, the hotel has a lovely terrace on the first floor at the front of the hotel with views over the river and Cochem Castle. Our room was nice and clean and comfortable, with a lovely bathroom/shower. The breakfast room was very nicely decorated with a cool pastel colour scheme and comfortable modern furniture. Really good choice of breakfast items, including one glass of sparkling wine per guest each morning if you fancied one! The family who own the hotel also have a vineyard and the sparkling wine served at breakfast is their own wine and it’s very nice! The hotel also has its own wine shop downstairs, under the breakfast room, so it’s nice and easy to buy a chilled bottle of Reisling from there to enjoy on the terrace! Very reasonably priced wine too. Blonde lady who worked on reception was very friendly and helpful when we asked for advice about river cruises.
