The hotel was gorgeous and the amenities were amazing. The room was super comfortable and big. The restaurant was excellent, too bad I forgot to book the Christmas dinner beforehand. But we still enjoyed our stay. I can highly recommend the hotel for a perfect getaway.

Autonomous in-checking went very smoothly Breakfast was tasty, it was served to the table. Parking was easy at the court. Personnel was friendly and made you feel welcomed.

The facilities are top notch, but what stands out is the staff. Universally friendly and going out of their way to be helpful. The button for the large flush in our room was hanging a little, so we told reception. First response was an offer for another room. We simply suggested that they had a look at it and next morning the maintenance guy changed the whole flush plate and all was in order. The staff in the lobby bar also went out of their way to provide us with precisely what we wanted. The hotel is placed at the bottom of the Flensburg harbour and the main shopping street is half a block away. Great restaurants in the neighborhood, and the hotel breakfast was excellent. We will certainly be back.

Really nice place with spacious rooms equipped with a kitchenette. Simple self-check-in procedure, good Wi-Fi. One can walk to the old town in 15 min, there is also a bus stop some 5 min away from the hotel

Flensburg is a beautiful and charming town, and Central Hotel is perfectly located – very close to the main bus station and right at the beginning of the main street. There are plenty of transportation options nearby, from buses to e-scooters. The room was excellent, clean, and well-equipped, and it seems the hotel is developing and upgrading. Everything worked perfectly, and the overall condition was new and fresh. The highlight for me was the strong shower stream – exactly what I needed after a 4-hour train journey. The provided amenities (toothbrush, shaving kit, and grooming set) were also very convenient. Breakfast was wonderful, not crowded, with two buffet lines so you could always get more without waiting. Cleanliness was outstanding, both in the room and the dining area. I also appreciated the option to leave my luggage after checkout and enjoy exploring the town freely. Overall, a great experience – thank you for the amazing hospitality!

Outstanding hotel. Beautiful facilities with much attention to detail and a fantastic comfortable ambiance. Excellent gourmet restaurant. Outstanding staff that tries to anticipate your every wish. Very comfortable rooms. Beautiful garden, fantastic spa. I found this hotel by chance using booking.com because I needed a place to stay for one night during a long road trip. What a pleasant surprise and a place to remember and perhaps revisit in the future.

Quiet and good location just a few km from the autobahn A7. Very good parking facilities at the hotel. The staff was very nice and service-minded - not everyone spoke English but did their best to understand. Breakfast was very good. Dinner was fantastic. We will be happy to return to this hotel when we go south again.
