Beautifully fitted out and decorated common area and rooms. The suite I booked turned out to be bigger than I expected, and more importantly is very cozy and comfortable, especially the bed. The suite also has balcony with a stunning view of the river and Hiedelberg's old town from across the river. It even has a gym and an outdoor jacuzzi with lovely views located at the higher elevation of the hotel backyard. Because the property is located across the river from the old town, generally it is quieter as it is away from the hustle & bustle of the tourists. Nevertheless, it is only 5 minutes away on foot from the main bridge that gets you to the old town. The staff are genuinely friendly & informative - Luca is very efficient & accommodative, while Sofie is always welcoming. They kindly arranged for a pick-up from another small village I was at prior to the stay and the arrangement was hassle-free.

The hotel is in an excellent location, close enough to walk to the main tourist areas but quiet and secluded. The rooms were clean and just as pictured.

This was our second time starting here. The location is perfect for quick access to the shopping areas, restaurants, and sight seeing. The staff are very accommodating, and the rooms are very charming and well kept.

I love this hotel , the location is superb - directly opposite the old bridge and we were blessed to have a beautiful view. Everything is within walking distance , the castle , old town, supermarket , restaurants and pedestrian strip. The traditional German buffet breakfast was set in a charming room . We visited at Christmas time and the decorations were beautiful, each window had a different festive arrangement . There was a lovely Christmas tree in the reception area and a Weihnachts Teller for guests to take a chocolate , I felt this was such a caring and generous gesture . The staff are friendly and very welcoming . I will definitely return for another visit .
