Romantic Hotels in Luxor

- Great pool area with beautiful view to the river nile and the westbank - perfect location for following the sunset - Very tasteful architecture of the hotel - just a couple of minutes away from Karnak and Luxor Temple - Offer of taxi service for a reasonable flat rate - Good breakfast with lots of choice. Coffee served at the table (no self-service), what further improves the experience.

My sister and I absolutely loved the large garden grounds and the pool area. We also loved our terrace that overlooked the gardens. The location was great as well! The staff were very helpful as well, except for the breakfast maître d. This guy was incredibly condescending and patronizing. Everybody else was amazing!

The location of the hotel was fantastic right on the Nile. Concierge were helpful and friendly and Hassan at Reception was friendly and attentative. Ali who cleaned our rooms was such a delight and his towel art was world class. Ashraf at the Golden spa was amazing and his team at the spa gave us the best hammam and massages. My sister stayed at the Steigenberger Nile Palace but the ambience at the Steigenberger Achti was much better and a more authentic Nile experience. She would join us for sunset at Steigenberger Achti because the atmosphere at sunset at Achti is truly surreal. We also loved that the felucca's are allowed to moor at the hotel, this really enhances the hotel and gives guests an authentic Nile experience. The food at Sofra restaurant is really delicious and the service is outstanding. The buffet breakfast has many options and it was fantastic. This truly was a memorable stay for us and one which we will never forget. We will definitely be back again and my sister will be booking here as well.
