Everything the breakfast was delicious with great choices. Had dinner one night that was perfect. The room was large with perfect facilities. A nice walk into the town. I would come back in a heartbeat.

A lovely, quiet hotel in the countryside. Lovely atmosphere and welcoming, helpful host. The room had character and charm. Continental breakfast was tasty and having the option of evening meals was ideal and added to the relaxation. Lovely gardens for strolling around. We did not use the outdoor pool due to the cool weather but it looked nice for a warm day. The overall experience was peaceful, relaxing and felt like being in a country home.

Las Calzadas is set in Cantabria’s Oyambre Natural Park, just outside the fishing village of San Vicente de la Barquera.

Very nice and cost-effective hotel on a 15min walk of San Vicente center. Amazing view on the Picos.

The hospitality was excellent, we were offered alternative accommodation closer to amenities which was crucial for us. The owner was so lovely and the place was really comfortable. A lovely experience.

It is a wonderful place in perfect harmony with the old town around it but also very comfortable. Enclosed Parking space at the hotel was unexpected and very convenient.

This charming country-style hotel is set in a restored 17th-century house in central Santillana del Mar. Each room is individually decorated and includes a spa bath and free Wi-Fi.

Fabulous! Everything about it. As beautiful as Santillana is, it's too touristy for me but we we're starting our next section of the CAMINO DEL NORTE from the town. The location is great, the building is beautiful, the room was fabulous AND as for the breakfast (Included) I wish I had 3 stomachs, there was SO MUCH wonderful choice, amd the price was incredible. In my own stupidity I left a pair of sandals at the hotel, I only realised when I arrived at Comillas. I rang the hotel and they offered to drive over to COMILLAS with them, which I couldn't let them do, and will collect them when I return to the area in May, awesome awesome people running a fabulous hotel!!
