The Hostal Albany Ancha is located next to the Leon Cathedral which makes the location really amazing. Everything is close, restaurants, coffee shops, grocery stores, souvenir stores, etc. The hostal is very modern and the room was cozy and clean. We had a balcony directly on the cathedral plaza.

Host was so friendly and positive. She worked with me to overcome the language barrier. Location was good. I had 4 nights in Leon. It was very easy to come and go I was traveling alone and felt very safe. I enjoyed meeting different people.

It is an old monastery transferred into a nice hotel. The room was fine but the surroundings oozed of history. The breakfast was great. They cooled champagne and wine!
