We had booked a room with sea views. At first we got a room on ground floor with a view to the sea through a thick set of pine trees! We came back to complain about that. The picture on the booked room shows a large balcony and a view to the sea over the trees. The young guy at the reception was not very flexible and the temperature was rising. Fortunately the young girl on his right had more commercial style. She changed our room in 2 minutes. We got the room on the 3rd floor with a large balcony overlooking the bay. Just what we ordered. We were satisfied.

Facing the sea, Spa Marin is set in Pléneuf in the Val André resort. It offers a Spa and Wellness Centre with free access from 9:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. for adults and only from 5:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

The staff were super friendly and the room was huge. My 8-year old son enjoyed the salt water pool and the rich breakfast including pancakes. The hotel is very well located within a few minutes walk of everything in the village.

We were delighted by the chateau and its lovely owners who gave us a warm welcome. The house was full of character and our room was gorgeous - light, spacious and with everything we needed whilst in keeping with the style of the house. The bathroom was spotless and fully modernised. Breakfasts were delicious - as well as the usual dishes, Madame made us each a Breton galette each morning - we felt very well looked after. What appealed to us in particular was that the chateau was lived in by our hosts, rather than a fancy hotel - it felt very authentic.
