Location is great stop over off motorway. Very comfortable bed, lovely staff, good breakfast and parking is secure. Near to excellent restaurant options.

Between Saone River and St Philibert Abbey, The Hôtel Le Rempart, Tournus is a former 15th century guard house, now completely renovated hotel.

Central and easy to find ..parking opposite the building has been updated and is now secure..brilliant. Staff are so welcoming and helpful..the ‘pub’ bar is great and breakfast was superb.

This charming hotel is situated on top of a small hill overlooking the vineyards of the Mâconnais, and it benefits from an exceptional location in quiet and peaceful surroundings.

Lovely B&B, off the beaten track, but in an oasis of tranquillity: the view from the patio is magnificent and we had a wonderful lunch and breakfast. We definitely hope to come back and spend a bit more time there.

This is the second time we have stayed here, which is probably recommendation enough! As before the couple who run it were very friendly. Breakfast was excellent with fresh bread, croissants and home made jams. We were in a downstairs bedroom this time and had no problem with the internet. The shower was fine. There was a kettle in the room. The accommodation is within easy walking distance of bars and restaurants. This time we had managed to get a booking at Le Raisin just 5 mins walk away and in the Michelin guide. Access from the motorway is easy. We were heading south on our way to Italy and filled up with cheap petrol the evening before when we had come off the motorway.

The owners were fantastic. We arrived late after a long drive and they had prepared food for us. They were happy to provide recommendations on things to do. The Atelier and its surroundings are beautiful. We stayed in a two bedroom apartment, perfect for our family. We will definiately come again.
