Easy to find , on the lake side. Our room was very nice , light with big windows. Loved the decorations. Staff very friendly , easy free parking. Also the most soft fluffy towels I ever experienced . Lot of nice places to see around.

Perfection location amongst the Lake District. Lovely facilities and the restaurant was fantastic for dinner and breakfast. We both had the steak pie for dinner and it was the one best I have ever had. Would definitely recommend it

We stayed at the Garrison while walking the west highland way. Kelly made our stay as comfortably as possible, she even asked us if we needed anything from the store and brought us blisterpads... The Garrison is probably the best place we booked along the way. The views are amazing, the food is superb! The building itself breathes historical Scotland. And Kelly's love and passion for her work made our stay magical. I really suggest everyone to go here. ❤️

The location of the hotel was perfect, a short walk to the beautiful and charming village. Our room was lovely and very accommodating. The views from our room were also beautiful. The supper meal we had our first night was very good. The library bar was cosy and convenient. The wait staff at breakfast, supper and in the bar were excellent. We truly enjoyed our stay.

    The staff were really lovely, very accommodating and also because it was our anniversary we had complimentary chocolates and flowers in our room, which was a lovely surprise. The food was amazing with a lovely selection.

    Friendly, welcoming staff that gave the place a lovely and relaxed atmosphere. Room seemed recently done up with a comfy bed. The main road goes round the other side of the loch so it was very peaceful sitting out front.

    We had a lovely relaxing overnight stay. The staff were happy and friendly and our room was comfortable, with a fabulous view over the Loch to the mountains. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious - and plentiful.

    Our second trip here, & just as relaxing as the first time round. Beautiful scenery, lovely inn with comfy beds. A huge cooked breakfast in the morning. Loved the Christmas decorations too
