Romantic Hotels in Chelmsford

Excellent customer service from the man who greeted us. Lovely room in immaculate condition with plenty of crockery and glasses. The bath and shower were very nice and we enjoyed the jacuzzi function! The bed was very comfortable and the USB chargers were very useful. The breakfast was delicious. There was plenty of space in the car park.

Access to the neighbouring leisure facilities to relax in the pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. Breakfast was excellent with choice of buffet or selected cooked items from a menu. Food for dinner and lunch was also excellent. Room was spacious and made it comfortable for a week long stay where we could work, relax and sleep. Staff were always willing to help and the ability to refill water bottles with filtered water was a bonus and set us up for a day out.

Perfect stay for us just off the A12 to get a good quiet night’s sleep in a comfortable bed together with a kettle for drinks and a good shower. Lovely breakfast in the morning and very welcoming helpful staff throughout. Unfortunately we didn’t get time to use the leisure centre but that would have been an added bonus too. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Well appointed rooms with lovely staff and relaxing indoor and outdoor pools.

It was a flying visit for me as I arrived late after a delayed flight and needed to depart early, but I slept like the dead!! It's so lovely a quiet here, love the vibe of walking through the garden courtyard to get to the rooms, you instantly feel relaxed.

Welcome, room and facilities were all excellent. We sat in the courtyard in the sun for a few drink and the helpful team bought the drinks out for us. Breakfast was very good with a selection of hot and cold food all fresh and lovely. We would definitely recommend and will be going back to stay again as we had a lovely relaxing time.

Lovely grounds nice relaxed feel. If you like to use a gym, don't stay here, only because there isn't really a gym. Nice little swimming pool, sauna and steam room. You can order food on poolside and jacuzzi inside and outside, also outside pool. Loved it, just what we needed. Food was lovely too, breakfast was so good.
