Fantastic bright clean room. Lynda (Owner if property) was just lovely and very knowledgeable of the area. Couldn't do enough for us. Home made fudge and cake was supplied. Overall an excellent stay and would highly recommend this guest house.

We had a wonderful stay thanks to the amazing hosts. Joy was really helpful and provided us with everything we needed for a great few days. The room was clean, warm, and cosy. The bed was very comfortable (we even helped ourselves to delicious tea provided in the room), and the mattress was as good as new. The breakfast was truly delicious and had fantastic options - whether you want to experiment and get something different every day, or simply enjoy the one thing that blew you away. The location is perfect, we didn't have a car so we arrived by train and it was just a short walk from the station. We also booked a tour with a meeting point even closer. But apart from the good accommodation Joy showed us a friendly face and a warm welcome to our home away from home. He was super positive and extra nice. So remember: if your host's name is Joy, you are guaranteed to enjoy.

There was a great selection for breakfast and we ordered room service for dinner. The food was delicious and came really quickly. The room was absolutely huge, much bigger than a standard room in any other hotel I've stayed in. Great location right in the river with all the shops and restaurants within walking distance.
