The bus to Edinburgh is right next to the hotel and the drive is majestic with beautiful scenery. Breakfast was substantial and full breakfast could be made to order. The town of Peebles itself has a selection of places to eat and lovely country Scottish shops. The River Tweed is a lovely backdrop to the town itself. Recommend this hotel highly. The staff were so lovely and friendly (Janette and Ryan were lovely on reception) , they couldn't do enough for us. The food was very good. Our room was so nice and very clean. Breakfast was delicious with excellent choice and service. Our evening meal and breakfast was made all the more special because I had gluten free choices which is very rare for me to find. We were there to celebrate a 70 th birthday and wedding anniversary and the Barony team gave us a complimentary bottle of wine which was really special.
