Location was very convenient for us traveling from Heathrow to Wales, we spent one night at the hotel and it was fantastic! The room is very comfy, and so is the bed. They have a restaurant and the food was simply delicious !!! There’s a soup of sweet potato and coconut you MUST try! Fantastic! And the main plates were so tasty as well. The room was silent, we had a wonderful night there.

Excellent room, super breakfasts, on site parking. Super location, lovely parkland, very close to Reading. All the staff were excellent and extremely friendly, couldn't do enough to help. Special mention for Ivan and Kat.

Beautiful location - music and BBQ on rolling lawns down to the river. Great food. Lovely staff who gave out a free wash kit when everything had been left at the previous hotel.

Everything was excellent, even if you are traveling along, there is a good vibe in the hotel at night.

Our room was upgraded to a beautiful and spacious suite. It was very comfortable. We had arrived from overseas so it was nice to have a soak and a nap followed by a delicious dinner. The next morning we enjoyed the amazing breakfast and the staff was accommodating and friendly. They helped us across the street with our bags to the train station—right up to the platform!

Within Forbury Gardens, this luxury 5-star hotel offers a fine dining restaurant and a cocktail bar. Reading Rail Station is a 5-minute walk away.

On arriving in England you couldn’t get a more original experience. In a small village area with a church next door ( they even practiced ringing the bells and walks along the river close by. The rooms are compact as would be expected of a property of this age but everything has a place. Extremely comfortable. Food excellent quality and staff were so helpful.

I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels in, around and within commuting distance of London and am always disappointed. This hotel in Reading exceeded expectations! I was really pleased with my stay. For the price, everything was exceptionally clean, standards of hygiene in rooms was 10/10 (mattress protectors, clean mattresses etc). The room was large and comfortable for the price. I attended a conference and the facilities were great. Well done for high standards. The staff were extremely efficient, kind, understanding & patient.
