Second time staying here and thoroughly enjoyed both stays. Only a couple minutes from the beachfront, and so well looked after, including supplying sandwiches for our son as he has specific dietary requirements. Would highly recommend.

The room at the very top of the stairs was absolutely perfect. The pub was lovely. Dinner was good.

Excellent room. Clean and comfy. Staff was super friendly and helpful. The location is fantastic. We stayed here before, about 8 years ago, so we knew what to expect. We were guests at a Scottish wedding that was being held in the Banchory Lodge, and that was perfectly arranged as well.

The Aberdeen Altens Hotel is 3 miles from the city centre and just 1 mile from the coast. The Altens has modern rooms with en suite bathrooms and boasts a sauna, spa and indoor pool.

We loved this place. Good restaurant and bar in site, friendly and helpful staff. The building and the garden are great and the common rooms are lovely to sit and chat.

The charm of the Hall was breathtaking! It felt original and well kept. Though the old building had a “museum” like smell to it - but that added to the atmosphere and charm. Service in reception impeccable. Lovely and quiet rooms. We had 4 rooms for our family. Best breakfast!
