We were met by Keiran who made us feel very welcome. Our room was ready for check-in @3pm on arrival and was clean and tidy. We ate in the restaurant on 3 separate evenings (including NY Eve), the staff were excellent (many thanks to Gemma & Tom for looking after us) and the food was top notch with good portions and even a few cocktails, which in my opinion were very reasonably priced.

Featuring free WiFi, The Castle Inn is situated in Spofforth, 6 miles from Harrogate and 3 miles from major Motorway links. Guests can enjoy the on-site and a restaurant and bar.

The staff was amazing...Dave was exceptional!!! Thank you again!! I came early to check in and discuss with the staff that I was planning to propose to my now Fiancé. Everyone was listening to all the details and taking notes. Dave walked me up to my room and we went over everything, he also added things he could do to make everything even more perfect, which it was a most memorable evening!! I ordered the Romance package, and it was delivered with personal instructions flawlessly. Also, they recommended reserving a table at the bar, which felt like the most amazing table in the bar. The room was perfect. Everything was stunning!! Everyone was so pleasant and greeted you every chance they got. The breakfast the next day was so wonderful and in a very quiet setting. Options seemed endless as to cater to anyone's needs. We were entranced by the decor throughout. Absolutely one of the best places we have ever stayed!! Defiantly will be returning for a much longer stay.

My room was very clean with a lovely modern bathroom. Breakfast in the beautiful conservatory was gorgeous and I loved the building itself with its interesting history. Great location, close to the rail station and to the Barbican where I attended the snooker.

Absolutely exquisite Gem! Self check in was simple and well explained. The unit was spacious, clean and oh my goodness the bed was one of the most comfortable I have experienced during traveling. The location couldn't have been better and within short walking distance to all of York's must see attractions and entertainment. Price point was very reasonable and the property well exceeded expectations. Will definately be back and recommend to others.

Very large, beautiful and relaxing space. Felt very much at home. Loved the kitchen, spa like bathroom which had both a tub and shower, and very large couch to relax on. The location was very central, and it was easy to walk around town.
