The breakfast was lovely and had a good variety. The staff was friendly and really accommodating. We were arriving late and they went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable room and food when we arrived, even though the restaurant was closed. I cannot say enough good things about Sarah and the staff. The beds were really comfortable and we had a really good nights rest.

Very helpful at check-in as we were part of a large wedding party. Pre arranged evening meal was the highlight as had excellent service and all guests had a great time.

We loved our stay at Cathedral Lodge. Exceptional location, right on the grounds of the famous Canterbury Cathedral, with parking right outside the lodge (must be reserved). Great breakfast with lots of choice, just perfect. The rooms are very nice and comfortable, all well thought out. We had a fantastic view of the cathedral. Entry to the cathedral is free for guests of the lodge. The location is a perfect base for exploring Canterbury.

Dating back to 1438, the historic Cathedral Gate is in the heart of Canterbury.

Rob is a delightful young man with a heart of gold and a head of the most illustrious hair. The staff here is extremely personable as well as knowledgeable about the surrounding area. 10 out of 10 Peronis, would recommend.

Staff were all friendly - from the reception to the breakfast support. They seemed happy to be there, which makes all the difference. Breakfast was by far the best we had while travelling around the UK (I must say we usually have continental breakfast, so the options available made all the difference here). Location is also very convenient.

Great location at top end of high street, across from the main bus station. Very good bar and restaurant downstairs with local pints. Comfortable room with a breakfast tray delivered to our door in the morning with toast, croissants, coffee, juice, bananas, and granola with yogurt. Room had a lot of character with exposed beams in the 16th century building. Friendly staff
