staff is very helpful and friendly. Location is good, taxis to go to town are not expensive.

A lovely overnight stay, a 30 minute taxi ride from the airport. The hotel organised the taxi for us and we paid the driver E45 - the going rate. We walked along the coast to the little harbour town to the right of the hotel (as you look at the hotel from the sea). We ate at a wonderful restaurant - XH.MA - not touristy, great food. The breakfast at the hotel was very good - lots of options, including gluten free and vegan. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. The view from our room and balcony was excellent. The room is very large and the bed was comfortable. The welcome cocktail at check in and the bowl of fruit in our room - very nice touch. If you are passing through Athens as we were and want a break from the city, this is the place for you.

Everything about this property is just great! What an exceptional and warm welcome by driver Bill, outstanding services provided by the most welcoming and genuinely positive Nicolia - her attention to details is amazing! Eleni, did a great job too! Ms. Claudine, the property's owner, has also found the time to welcome us warmly and kindly offered any assistance we might need! Property is off the urbane areas; one of the reasons why we have chosen it on this occasion. The Varaba House has such a good energy from the moment one steps in; we've stayed in a nice room in the attic - modern, functional, immaculate, comfortable beds, generous top-quality toiletries, everything one would expect from a five-star hotel is there, with that personal touch one would occasionally miss in the big hotels. The hotel's landscaping is well maintained; there are a few cute and super friendly pets... in a word, perfection in its best! Breakfast - delicious, presented in a style! Thank you all for this wonderful experience!

Excellent location right below the temple and on a lovely sandy beach with great beach services.

Good and calm location with amazing view. The territory is closed so good for children to play and run around (and parents to control same). Enough parking slots for a big company. The houses are equipped with all necessary things to enjoy staying. The beach is 100 mtrs away (we did not use it as in beg of May temperature of the water was still cold to swim). Good and fast communication with the host. We would definitely come back here.

Very nice hotel! Staff is very polite, professional and friendly. Breakfast is delicious. Position is perfect, in a very good area, in front of sea. Rooms are big, very clean and with all comforts.

It been a few weeks that we are back home and I finally get to write this review. This hotel was a surprise for us. As it was last night before leaving Greece from Athens airport we booked something near airport but by the beach. Didn't expect much from 2* resort. Hotel is outdated but very clean and authentic. It is located in a remote location with nothing nearby. Surrounded by gorgeous views. Room was comfortable for 2 adults and 2 kids. Very clean with stunning view, good internet. BUT the most enjoyable part was the restaurant. It works almost all day with short break. The owner of the hotel runs the place and cook for the guests. He comes out and asks what you want to eat. Forget the menu, he will tell you what he has at the kitchen with all the yummy details how he cooks the dish for you and what ingredients he uses. Theodore (the gentleman's name, that means the God's gift. And he was real gift to us) shows as the authentic Greek cousine and was so passionate about what he is doing. Surrounded by beautiful views having great Greek wine (they let you try all before you order), talking to Theodore (he has interesting life. Traveling and sometimes working as a chef in Italy, France,New York ) Was amazing experience. The service is kind of slow (family runs it), but you are in Greece:) and the good thing that I saw locals coming to the kitchen and grabbed the drinks themselves:) The beach was not that nice. We ended up using the rocky entrance on the side, there were stairs to the water. Kids did snorkeling as the water is very clear and warmer . A lot of little fish. (we were traveling in the different islands, so the water was much warmer then on the islands) When we will come back to Greece we would make a point on staying one more night there. It is a perfect place to spend one night or two nights.
