The rooms and building were beautiful -high celings, styled in an antique way. Amazing Service- The staff were wonderful. Breakfast was really good- coffee, juice, toast with spreads, mix of fruit, greek yogurt, honey and a choice of eggs cooked your way. The beds were comfortable Great location as 5 or 7 minutes walk from Port. Minimal stairs compared to the rest of the island . Slight incline up from Port, but only a feew stairs up at the hotel. This was good as I have a bad Knee

The Douskos Guesthouse is excellent!! The rooms are large , bright and airy ! It a 5 minute walk to the beautiful Port of Hydra . The rooftop breakfast was absolutely delicious with a spectacular view !!! What made it even more wonderful for me was meeting Angeliki, she is an amazing gem of a woman, she helped me with everything, telling me where to eat , shop ,go sightseeing, where to go for a sundowner and how to get to different beaches , she even phoned ahead and booked the sun lounger , she was just incredible, thank you so much Angeliki you made my stay in Hydra so much more memorable, and I will return :)

Location was great very close to town centre but also quiet. Both owner and staff were very nice and professional, providing directions and everything needed (beach towels steam iron). Sparkling clean room.

Centrally located in Hydra Town and just 100 metres from the port, the traditionally built Guesthouse Alexandra features stone-built walls, iron beds and beamed ceilings.

Very good location, almost near the harbor. Unobtrusive, but caring service with respect for the guest. Everything promised was available and even more: greek honey and other goodies.
