Great location inside the castle walls and close to hundreds of cafes and eating places. Easy walking distance to town and the lake. Staff were exceptional..always cheerful and willing to help. Changed breakfast when they realised we weren't eating the bread and sweet foods and provided fresh fruit, yoghurt salad and eggs instead. Highly recommend Hotel Kastro.

Love this hotel, centrally located, just a short stroll to eateries, shops and attractions. Nice comfy rooms with large bathrooms. Very nice and polite staff, with an exceptional breakfast buffet, boasting a huge variety of tastes and flavors. Have stayed at this hotel many time without disappointment, highly recommend it, do yourself a favor and enjoy some luxury.

The location, the bed was amazing and had a great night sleep. Eventhough you could here a little noise from the street, there was no such for inconvenience. Clean, good, would recommend and stay again!

The staff are very friendly and helpful. We bicycled from Igoumenitsa to Ioannina and we were caught in the rain the last 45 minutes. Needless to say we were exhausted when we arrived at this cozy welcoming hotel. The manager offered warm drinks and cake to us to cheer us up! He explained where the interesting parts of the Old Town, and the main city were, and gave us recommendations for restaurants. The location is great, in the Old Town. The breakfast is a lovely choice of many items including spanikopita!

Best hotel we could have hoped for, clean, luxury and amazing value for money. Great breakfast, we super recommend it. The staff was excellent and nice.

The staff was above and beyond with customer service, as well as the breakfast each morning. And the location was perfect for being in Ioannina. Although parking was a short walk to a paid parking lot, the Staff carried my luggage when I arrived as well as when I left to my car.
