This is an excellent locaiton and great place to stay in Frango Kastello. Walking distance to excellent beach and two great tavernas. It is my second time staying and I will come again.

The location was amazing - right on the beachfront of an unspoilt beach in Frangokastello. The self-catering accommodation was perfect. Friendly host and attentive. Clean and well maintained. We returned for a further 2 nights at the end of our holiday and won't hesitate to return again in the future. Beautiful sunsets from terrace and listening to the sea from your bed .......... perfect!

This place was such a nice surprise!! Clean and very local . We ate the best vegetables soup when we cam back from our hike! Highly recommend!! Also the transport to Samaria Gorge is free in the morning which was a BIG PLUS!

The beginning of the journey was dramatic. A refusal message came from the facility despite prior booking through Booking.com. The intricately planned plan of visiting eastern Crete collapsed like a domino hit. Too late to correct the routes. The owner, however, approached my problem in a task-oriented way. He accommodated my group in a room that was satisfactory for Loutro's conditions. It must be remembered that the real reward of staying in Loturo is not the standard of the room but the view from the balcony of the bay and the town. A big plus for the approach to the topic. In the time and standard expected, there was no chance of finding a room in mid-August.
