The room was kind of a perfect little room, comfortable bed, and had a small balcony that looked out over the water and mountains in Connemara. Beautiful! Had an actual hot-breakfast included in the booking which was terrific. Very happy with the booking.

The Lodge is Fabulous, beautiful bedroom comfortable bed , bathroom fantastic. Dining room is spectacular with a beautiful view Delicious breakfast . Parking on sight, short walk across the road then down a path to a castle A very short drive on Sky Loop road to see the best sunset. Ruth is a lovely, kind and caring host Clifden town centre is walkable or a short drive. A pleasure to see a history of music decorated through the Lodge. The lady at reception who checked us in was friendly and offered us tea and delicious cake to bring to our room. Our room was located at the rear of the hotel and overlooked a rockery garden. We really liked the good selection on the breakfast menu as well as the buffet choices. Staff and service were excellent. There is a relaxing feel to this lovely hotel with it's interior decoration and comfortable spaces to sit in.
