Villa Brown in the Greek Colony is one of the most beautiful places to stay in in Jerusalem. In the heart of a quiet neighborhood and close to central locations within walking distance, it is charming, with and inviting lobby and extraordinary service. I especially want to praise Suheir who was patient, efficient, and one of the only women I have met who is able to do 10 tasks at once. Thank you for the perfect hospitality for us and our families. Wow! 10++++ Fantastic location, certainly the best in Old Jerusalem, just inside Jaffa gate on left side. When going through the gate, look for a small sign on second floor level saying ”Imperial”. Entry from main street, at the back of the tunnel. No neon signs here! : ) Colonial style boutique hotel with the friendliest and MOST helpful people I have ever met while visiting 120 countries and after thousands of hotel nights. This is not a hotel franchise, but original and local style and very safe. Great decorations to enjoy. The building is 100 years old, which is part of the charm. Room was basic but very clean and 100% functional. Nothing to worry about. Breakfast also local style and very fresh and plentiful. No widowmaker sausages and bacon but the real local and healthy food. Remember to go to the rooftop to enjoy the remarkable view over old Jerusalem. (Especially the sunset was nice there. Bring your own bottle of wine, which you can buy on Jaffa Street). Just few meters from the hotel door there is an equally great restaurant as the hotel is. Try the lamb chops. We had it twice. Reasonable prices. Best food during our whole trip and extremely nice staff also there. Thank you, thank you, thank you for the amazing experience! We will definitely be back.

Cleanliness, attentive staff, a very delicious breakfast, excellent location, free parking, two wonderful restaurants, and lovely little gifts in the form of tasty chocolate in the room.

In the heart of Jerusalem, the YMCA Three Arches Hotel probably has the best location in town. Opposite the famous King David Hotel, it is a 10-minute walk from the Old City.
