The hospitality at this place is excellent. They picked me up at the train station and made sure the porters charged me fairly. They let me stay in the common area after checkout because my yoga ashram pickup was not til 6am. This place is clean even in the corners and extremely well organized.

We had a wonderful stay al Le Pondy. The rooms were delightful with a baranda outside with an overhead fan. The staff was attentive to our needs and wants. The message at the Ayurveda center was excellent. Walking on the beach to see the fishermen and especially the sunrise was memorable. We highly recommend Le Pondy.

    Perfect stay. Beautiful house located close to the White town with 2 terrasses, hammocks, a swing… Lovely hosts - I was there for the New Year’s Eve and they kindly invited me to have delicious food and drinks. Clean and nicely decorated room. Probably my best stay in India.

    A big thank you to the helpfull staff who upgraded us to a bigger room and allowed us to check out at 7 pm at no extra cost. This is a lovely small hotel with probably the most entertaining waiter that served is during the week that we traveled in Tamil Nadu.
