We liked the convenient location at the heart of the old town but quiet at the same time. Also worth mentioning the cleanliness and the boutique touch of the hotel. Recommendations and kindness from the family were fantastic.

Previously owned by the Maharaj of Madri and restored to its current state, Madri Haveli features elegant rooms with stained glass windows. The area around it is conserved for tourist heritage walk.

This was really an exceptional stay and it was better then I expected. The place is a renovated old Haveli building, which makes it very special to stay there. In the middle of the building is a courtyard that brings the light into the rooms. On one of the floors there is a nice nook with stain glasses that let through beautiful colors of light. That is where one can sip a cup of chai and/or read a book. On top floor there is a small restaurant where we had a very tasty breakfast. In the evening it is possible to have eat dinner or have a mocktail surrounded by the beautiful views of the city. The hotel organized for us a pick up from the hotel with a great driver. Since the hotel is located in narrow lanes not accessibile by the cars, they organized a auto-riksha to/from hotel to taxi. Everything in this city is a short walk distance from the hotel, so it is really easy to go around. All the staff was really above and beyond, they helped us in everything we needed and more :)

Mahendra Prakash is located in Udaipur, 350 metres from Hanuman Ji Temple. It features a restaurant, outdoor swimming pool and rooms with a TV. Free parking is provided.

The location of the hotel is amazing! You take a boat with a beautiful view and come to the hotel. The way they are greeting you upon arrival is unforgettable! The rooms are so spacious and luxurious! There is a very beautiful swimming pool with a gorgeous view on the lake! I had an opportunity to do a massage in the hotel and it was one of the best deep oil massages in my life! I would recommend to go to Kimkimi for a strong good quality massage! It is very comfortable that each guest has his own butler who is available all the time. I was lucky to have such a wonderful smiling, professional butler Foustinus! She assisted with all my requests! I would definitely recommend everyone coming to this hotel when visiting Udaipur! And I was lucky as well to have a local professional guide Mitesh who showed me the city from insight, told me so many stories of how locals live, showed me a ceramic market and how locals do pottery! The staff and the view, in that order, make this a most pleasant and romantic stay. We had a fabulous stay at the hotel, we had a room with lovely view to the lake. Everyone was helpful and very friendly and we felt very welcome. They did book us a transfer from the airport and a Tuktuk guide for a day. Dinner was delicious. I can absolutely recommend.
