The Guesthouse was one of the highlights of our trip. Super cozy, very clean, and with a fantastic view over the water. The kitchen has everything you need, including tea and coffee, and the common area invites to socialize or just relax.

We stayed at this guesthouse the first time in 2016. Since then, the property has expanded quite a bit, with a few more houses built further down the hillside. This time, we stayed here as a group of 7 people and were handed a full house all to ourselves. The facilities and service were outstanding. The staff bent over backwards for all our quirks, including our 10-year old picky eater and an unusual request for a breakfast birthday "cake" for one in our party. This is a great place, great value not far from highlights like Lake Myvatn and the nearby fishing / whale-watching town of Husavik. We will definitely be staying here next time we visit Northern Iceland.
