An earlier than expected check in and assistance with suggestions for a place to have breakfast while storing my luggage was a great start when arriving very early in the morning of my first day. The staff at the front desk were personable and resourceful and extremely patient, kind and helpful. The ambience was aesthetically pleasing. The hotel guests were exceptionally open to conversation and sharing tips about places to go and what to see as well. Staff were extremely helpful with booking a tour and reviewing the map for directions on travel and walking. This was a perfect hotel in a great location. I would definitely return.

Everything was perfect, it is close to bus station, also to meet up point and everything is near. The stuff is amazing and our room was changed to apartment and it was over the top beautiful. High recommendation.

The staff was amazingly friendly and so caring. Absolutely loved the care that went into making the guest so welcome, smoothies in the morning and how clean the place was. 100% will be staying here again, absolutely fantastic!

Great location in old part of town. Lovely old house with lots of quirky but nice style. Comfy beds. Communal breakfast was delicious and fun. Lots of homemade Icelandic goodies to try. Enjoyed meeting Steinum who was friendly, kind and full of information about Reykyavik.

The location of the hotel was ideal, right in the heart of Reykjavik. The decor was unique, with a lot of ambience. Fast and easy self check in, no need to queue. :)

Hosts are very worm and polite. If you don’t come before the reception closes, they send you instructions for finding your key. Everything was nice and clean. Parking space enough in front of the hotel.
