We'd been to Alassio the previous year - so we knew where and where not to stay to be close to the shopping area, the beach, and to enjoy an overall nice atmosphere. I therefore decided to book this hotel because we wanted a view of the sea this time around and a bigger room. We were not disappointed. We took one of the corner rooms with terrace on the 5th floor - and it had such a beautfiul view over the sea - and equally looking out from the side terrace at the promenade below. The two adjoining rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated (our teenage daughter was in the adjoining room) and the bathroom (with shower and jacuzzi bath) was both luxurious and spacious. We could not have wished for better. The beach is right in front of the hotel and there is a nice terrace (closed whilst we were there) and steps down to the sandy beach with beautiful and chic looking sunbeds (with towels provided). Our teenage daughter was in paradise there !

Residence San Marco Suites&Apartments Alassio is located in Alassio just 80 metres from the beach and offers self-catering accommodation. Free WiFi access is available.

These are amazing apartments. Beautiful building just one street from the beach. The apartment was very spacious and had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. There were 2 small balconies where you could sit out for breakfast or an evening drink. The bedroom and bathroom were huge and very comfortable. It is in a quiet area but only minutes walk away from shops, restaurants and the beach. It is a 10 min walk from the train station. You also have a fob to use the rubbish bins just opposite the apartments- very good system.

Facing the Mediterranean Sea and right next to the shopping area of Alassio, Hotel Danio Lungomare is a family-run hotel offering air-conditioned rooms. Bike rental is free of charge.

The hotel is lovely, right in front of the sea and ideally located - at the beginning of the pedestrian area. We had a spacious room on the 1st floor, facing the sea and the view is magical. The street can be a little noisy but the sound of the waves takes over :-) Breakfast is good, more home made/ fresh products would be a great bonus The staff was adorable
