It has the best pool on our travels to date. They let us check in really early. The room had an amazing view over the Umbria Valley. On the morning we left they let us start our breakfast 30 minutes early.

Clean room, friendly staff, family atmosphere. We used this hotel for our trip base around Umbria, Toscana and Marche. It was the best choice we have ever made on Booking.com. We greatly recommend this hotel to all who travel to Umbria and want to discover this part of Italy. Just below Assisi it makes this hotel an excelent choice for all who want to see the origins of St.Francis. Also, when we decided to take a one day trip to Rome by train, hotel staff prepared us the food for the trip. We have never felt more at home as we did in this hotel. Definately will come back!

The owners are one very kind family. They did everything they could to make my stay amazing. These people literally showed nothing but love. It felt like home. The location is great, food is good and there is a small cafe/shop in the building, which I found very convenient.

The Spa Facilities are superb. The hotel staff are very helpful. The location is fantastic in a beautiful area. Its a very relaxing place which delivers.

Located just 30 metres from the entrance to Assisi's historic centre, Hotel Porta Nuova is just 200 metres from the Basilica di Santa Chiara.

The reason why I booked this room, was that there was a parking at the hotel (10€ extra) and it was very close to visit Assisi. Pablo, the man at the reception was friendly. We've got a map of Assisi en he gave a few informations about the town. The room was nice with a good bed. The breakfast was very good with lots of choice. There was also a lovely cat at the reception.
