The rooms were very spacious and very nicely decorated, a real feeling of luxury. Almost a shame to leave your room! The hotel is located right in the old town of Matera. The breakfast was very extensive and delicious!

It way a perfect stay. Like the town of Matera is out of this world, and the accommodation made our stay even more enjoyable. The host kept in touch with us before our arrival. Once we arived, he welcomed us and gave us useful advice on the tour round the town as well as which restaurants were worth visiting. The room Gas a jacuzzi, which is just awesome. And what is more, our breakfast was delivered rught in fron of our room and it could be eaten in the bed or at the table. The room is also equipped with a coffee maker and a kettle so you can make tea or coffee anytime.

We were upgraded to a suite on arrival and received a welcome drink. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. we had a gorgeous view from outside our cave and breakfast on the terrace not only had the most magnificent view but also very delicious with a wide variety of foods.

The location was excellent and both Sassi Bariseno and Sassi Caveosso were easily accessible. The staff were really helpful and helped us in everything that we needed. A special thanks to front office lady Ms Rosita.
