Right in the centre of Montalcino, you couldn't get a better location. It's self check-in and was super easy to do as we received clear step-by-step instructions to find the b&b and access the room. Nothing was too much trouble for the host, she helped us sort a reduced cost parking permit, and provided us with an iron Breakfast was excellent (hams/cheeses, cereals & plenty of pastries) with lovely coffee Grazie!

This is the perfect place to spend time in Tuscany. The property is stunning and the staff is wonderful. It is beautiful. Everything was amazing. I did not want to leave and I can’t wait to go back. The wine tasting was excellent!

A special thanks to Sara, who was incredibly kind and attentive from the moment we arrived until the day we left. And Pasquale, the chef, who prepared an unforgettable antipasto platter and the most incredible bistecca I’ve ever had! I’ll never forget this place — it was a dream come true.

This is not the first time we have visited the hotel-SPA, and we can say that in this case we found ourselves quite satisfied. Being able to swim in the thermal water pool is a wonderful experience. Also pleased that the thermal baths could be taken right in the room. The most valuable thing about the hotel is its location. Whilst the service was decent, it's accessibility to the main wine regions, and views in all directions was still the most important thing. Stepping out on the patio or climbing out of the pool we were directly frozen by the incredible beauty of Val d'Orcia. The staff were very attentive and tried their best to help. For example, the nearest bridge over the Orcia River was closed for repairs and we would have had to take a circuitous route to the restaurant. However, the member of staff at reception found out that the bridge was accessible at the weekend, even though all the navigators showed otherwise, and we saved a lot of travelling time. One of the most powerful experiences was a wine tasting in the Castle, conducted by the hotel sommelier. He told us about local wine in a wonderful, clear and interesting way, showed us vineyards, shared the secrets of their care and explained the peculiarities of each variety tasted. We were very impressed and grateful for this unique experience!
