The staff is very attentive, the pool is large and well-maintained, and the dinners along with the drink menu are truly impressive. There’s no need to look for restaurants nearby — just book a table in advance, and you’re guaranteed a top-level experience. Rooms facing the marina and the port offer a stunning view, and the street itself is quiet and peaceful.

The Belvedere in Porto Venere will forever remain one of my fondest memories. The hotel exudes charm and character, with breathtaking views of the sea and the bays that make you feel as though you’ve stepped into a film. The location of the little town of Biassa is perfect for exploring Cinque Terre. It's off the beaten track which makes it quiet and peaceful. The room was lovely, neat and clean and the view of La Spezia from the balcony is beautiful. Andrea was a superb host who was very helpful with information about the area. The little Tobacco shop (owned by Gloria) just up the road is a must visit. She is incredibly knowledgeable about the area and gives valuable information on where to go and what to do.
